Aston Martin targeted by new FIA investigation for budget cap breach…
They say it is a « minor breach» but as it is another one following the one in 2022, I hope they don’t get a penalty that could compromise 2026..
Correct me if I’m wrong but I thought I read somewhere it’s only a procedural breach and they won’t face any financial penalties because the person who did the audit was sick and couldn’t sign it on time?
True it was a procedural issue (they didn’t actually overspend) but Aston Martin had to pay $450 k for that issue. I believe the signature story is speculative.
Ok let’s see but should be fine I hope. That interview with Enrico Cardile is really good. He comes off as such a chill humble dude that has a lot of respect for Adrian, Andy and co.Nikosar wrote: ↑25 Oct 2025, 14:24True it was a procedural issue (they didn’t actually overspend) but Aston Martin had to pay $450 k for that issue. As for this current situation regarding the 2024 submissions, nothing has been confirmed yet ( they say it will be Aston Martin but not confirmed ) everyone’s waiting for the FIA to publish its findings.
Fingers crossed. We will see.
