Indeed Manchild, not many people know that Monteiro is the only driver who finished in all 16 races so far.

I think Monteiro will be able to find some sponsors to keep his seat at Jordan teamed up with Ant (Anthony Davidson)

As far as I can say that is more due to luck than skill.

First of all, if your engine fails you are not able to finish a race, simple as that. So the guy was lucky to have no problems with his car while Karthikeyan at least had one this year (as far as I can remember).

Second, I don't think it is hard to finish a race. Well ok it becomes hard when you start driving into people from the back (cfr Turkey), but what is there to fight? For monteiro these days he is most of the time in front of Karthikeyan and both Minardis, while the cars in front of him are a lot faster. Chasing those is useless therefore. So he's only driving there on autopilot, being a little faster than his teammate (which is an accomplishment though) but he doesn't seem to have such difficulty with that :)

Humm...here in Portugal without the Portuguese GP in the calender there aren't many companies interested in sponsoring Tiago! The interest of F1 here in Portugal dropped alot with the disappearance of the Portuguese GP!

If Schumy had just a bit more luck then he would have won the titles in 97,98,99. A bit more luck and he would have made it.

That would have been really nice!!!

Dan Wheldon to williams? it seem that he might take the seat right under pizzonia's nose!! he would be a suitable replacement for button.(being british )

Talking of Pizzonia I read on Autosport that he could have a shoot out with J.V. and Wurz for the second BMW seat next year. I'd be interested to see if J.V. will go for this though after what he said last time someone pitched a shoot out with him!

How about the Suzuka/Sato rumors?

Please, Sato sucks this year; why do the fans love his crazy driving style if it doesn't even get him as close as Button? Even Schumacher said, "Whatever medication he is on, it isn't working."

Reminds me of the Verstappen days...

He was probably mentioning crazy driving style and medications that aren’t working based on his own experience…

The thing is though, without the aid of last years tyres he hasn't been that entertaining this year has he? It didn't matter last year if he was slow if he gave us something a bit nuts!

Taku is a good race driver....but unfortuanely not good enough for a top flight F1 team...that said a team like, Jordan (who have toyota engines next year....Jordan + Sato = Happy Toyota?) could do well with a driver such as Sato...he's bound to be faster than Albers & Doornbos, Possibly faster than Kartikeyan, but i doubt faster than monterio.

Put simply, he's good...ish - but not good enough for a big team.
