Rear wing flexing?

Height changing a large amount?

Much faster on the straight which he felt could only be from cheating?

I can only think it’s running low to the ground. They mentioned it in practise too.
I’m going to speculate that they are running a ride height that would wear the plank out too much during a full race distance with full tanks of fuel
Just a fan's point of view

I hope someone asks Albon what he meant by that, it was extremely saucy, we need to know more

Copying the Ferrari trick from Shanghai. Short term gain, and going backwards on Sunday.

From the top 4 teams:

- Merc gained the most time on the softs and the smallest on the medium tyres.
- Ferrari seems to be a little bit behind on medium tyres than Macca, but clearly the second fastest car on this tyre
- It`ll be interesting to see how the cars could handle the hard C3 tyre with a hot track temperature on Sunday, which we couldn`t see in Bahrain or Jeddah.

Now bearing in mind that the softs, which is C5, have the lowest operation window (except the new tyre C6), it means that the medium - C4 - tyre was working in the window for Macca and Ferrari and not so good for Merc coz their their setup and a low fuel couldn`t generate enough load to warm up the tyre core. But this situation could swing in their favour in the main race, particularly when presumably they`ll start the race on them and with the help of a car full of fuel could properly warm them up this time around ...

So the C5 soft tyre could be an option just for ANT in the sprint race, knowing that he will start on pole and running in the free air is king, as many drivers are saying nowadays. Then everybody else in the top team will start on the obvious C4 medium tyres and it`ll be a great simulation of the first stint of the main race, bearing in mind that it`ll probably be another 1-stop M-H race like they did last year ...

“The Mercedes was running super-low and perhaps it gains more than the others down there when the low fuel load and distance of a sprint race keeps the plank from being a concern.“

I still can't understand how VER didn't get penalized for impeding

Is there any video online? On the feed there was just a quick scene and there it looked just unfortunate, Ver on the edge of the track in the S-bend.

By the way: Is there any statement yet why/how they messed up the timing with Tsunoda? Why didn't they push a bit on the long straight?

I'm not sure but here's my suspicion.

1. There were several other impeding instances in the same session that were not broadcasted. I know Stroll was impeded several times on his final lap, by VER at the end but also twice in S1. Hulk was impeded in the final hairpin.

2. I think the stewards take a more laissez-faire approach in SQ to impeding. 20 cars on track, 12-minute session, everyone is doing double runs. You are going to get a lot of marginal impeding, i.e. people losing a few tenths because they caught a slow car in a bad spot. The only time I've actually seen them penalize impeding in SQ was Bottas last year on this same track, and that was a particularly egregious block.
