the hard actually looked okay yesterday. Toro Rosso and Haas did a hard/soft comparison with their drivers in FP2, and the average lap time was within a tenth or two.SB15 wrote: ↑25 Oct 2025, 21:13AR3-GP wrote: ↑25 Oct 2025, 20:51This looks like softs will be used in the race.search wrote: ↑25 Oct 2025, 20:41unfortunately they were not allowed to touch the Q3 set yet

The Hard tyre is completely useless until Qatar or maybe Sau Paulo idk.

Shouldn't the soft be faster than the hard? It looks that way for Mclaren.search wrote: ↑25 Oct 2025, 21:25the hard actually looked okay yesterday. Toro Rosso and Haas did a hard/soft comparison with their drivers in FP2, and the average lap time was within a tenth or two.
edit: the gap at Haas was actually bigger than what I remembered, but all in all, it still looked like a decent tire to me. Especially taking into account that it's going to be hotter than in FP2

The Mediums and Softs looks to be the much better race tyres. So really this is another weekend where the step harder tyres won't work because everyone will just bolt on the used softs instead.AR3-GP wrote: ↑25 Oct 2025, 21:35Shouldn't the soft be faster than the hard?
