If there's nothing more to test, they can begin packing a bit earlier.

I'm a little surprised that TR didn't go out for more after the race sim, but they said they wanted to hit 155 laps on days 3 and 4 of week 2 and do a race sim each day. They did what they wanted to do.
I also waited to see them some qualy sim after 150 laps but they didn't...

I just saw that tweet on the Honda F1 twitter. Glad they can take it back to see what the issue was. Wonder if it was anything significant or just a sensor.

Midfield will be super tight. I think Toro Rosso, Renault & Haas will fight for 4th.
I have a feeling they'll be closer to the back end of the midfield. They likely won't be last, which is good.

Yeah I think they will be back of midfield too. Remember their driver combo is the least experienced.

I think the STR drivers are going to surprise a lot of people this year...

I hope so. I like both of them, I just think they need some time.

I'm not worried about their driver combo. I think they'll do just fine. I think any team Stroll is on instantly becomes the worst driving pair. Half of Sauber isn't too hot, either.

Red Bull, Renault, and Force India have the best pairings I'd wager.

I just watched a 20 minute interview with Gastly done by Will Buxton. Very mature, and very wise for his age. My guess is that Marko has had them in "mind-management" school the entire off-season, and they are much better equipped to do the job of driving instead of understanding how to exist on the F1 stage.

At the very least I don't think either of them will be making "rookie" mistakes and I would think Hartley would be very good at providing feedback.

That could be. Plus they were put in a bad situation last year. The shenanigans going on at the end of last year had to have been a distraction to the team.

One thing I always admired about Honda this last three years is that their willingness to admit mistakes and provide info on technical issues, instead of blaming their partner and in constant denial of any wrongdoing.

So, PU anomaly with more than 7gp distance on the same PU. That's a great step forward compared last season. And speed traps don't look bad at all, maybe they need to do a little better on slow speed turns, but there are some time before Australia to upgrade a few items (on the engine too) First races will be maybe battling for some points... I think European Season we will starting to see the real potential of them...

They did a Q3 sim? Or best time was with some fuel on it? It have to be this, because Haas with SS did the same time, so... We will see soon, but there is hope now 😁
