A typical yellow rant from a journalist (if it's even true, because Corriere isn't a very reliable source): one engineer didn't like something, he told the journalist, who made it sound like there were many such engineers, and then all sorts of bloggers and communities will pick up the toxic speech, as if the entire Ferrari team of 1,000+ employees was against Leclerc.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑07 Oct 2025, 16:31There's some Italian media outlets reporting that people in Maranello aren't happy with Leclerc because he's been more vocal about the car being bad recently.
Now these articles are more than likely BS and none of these outlets have real connections with Ferrari (at least not with the engineering team) the only way this could be real is if Ferrari planted it themselves, not out of the question but we have no way of knowing. Either way what worries me is that these kinds of sentiments also happened when rumors of Vettel leaving started in 2019. Articles about his faith in the team wavering, pointing out his changing demeanor in interviews, discourse from the media about how some parts of the team dislike him, hell, even the interviews from people around them add to the fire (Leclerc's manager said last week that "all drivers need to be open to changes") Exactly the same "beginning of the end" vibes of their relationship with Ferrari breaking down.
I know people here want Leclerc to leave the team and I understand that for his own sake. But as a Ferrari fan I'd much rather he stay. It just unfortunately seems like all the signs are pointing to him leaving in 2027, and every week I grow more confident about this.
Corriere is pretty reliable when it comes to team drama, they're only famously unreliable for technical informationyooogurt wrote: ↑07 Oct 2025, 16:49A typical yellow rant from a journalist (if it's even true, because Corriere isn't a very reliable source): one engineer didn't like something, he told the journalist, who made it sound like there were many such engineers, and then all sorts of bloggers and communities will pick up the toxic speech, as if the entire Ferrari team of 1,000+ employees was against Leclerc.
happens, it won't be a disaster if he leaves, the team will find someone to replace him, even if the replacement is slightly weaker in skill (or maybe it will be Max), it will still be up to the engineers to decide whether they can or not.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑07 Oct 2025, 16:53There are real signs pointing to Leclerc leaving, as opposed to the conspiracy theories people had in previous seasons.
Leclerc has incredibly strong emotional attachment to Ferrari, especially given the context of Jules Bianchi.selvam_e2002 wrote: ↑07 Oct 2025, 20:21It is Lecrec's responsibility to come out from Ferrari. It seems he has some obligations with Ferrari so he stuck with them.
Just because you disagreed with it doesn't make it a conspiracy theory. To the point, if Leclerc goes, Ferrari is finished.ScuderiaLeo wrote: ↑07 Oct 2025, 16:53There are real signs pointing to Leclerc leaving, as opposed to the conspiracy theories people had in previous seasons.
Ehhh, I don't know about that. Like any storied sports team, someone good will always take a risk on the chance of becoming the next legend even in the down periods. Seen it way too many times in all major sports.AR3-GP wrote: ↑08 Oct 2025, 00:52Just because you disagreed with it doesn't make it a conspiracy theory. In the short term (2026-2029). Leclerc's departure won't happen in isolation. If those conditions are met, then Hamilton will also retire and there will be more fall out (Vasseur gone). It will take some years to rebuild the team's vision.JPower wrote: ↑08 Oct 2025, 02:50Ehhh, I don't know about that.
