It all depends on how much better Lando's race pace is and whether or not Ferrari will be impacted by LiCo.

I am fairly certain out of the races I can remember happening in Mexico, only Max has kept the lead in lap 1 starting from pole back in 2022. Pretty much guaranteed pole loses p1 here so there will be chances tomorrow. It all depends on how much better Lando's race pace is and whether or not Ferrari will be impacted by LiCo.
Well...the last 5 races have been won from pole at Mexico. So losing 1st place isn't the be all and end all. Just hoping for a strong race from both ferrari drivers. Maybe mclaren race pace is just out of reach for ferrari. But who knows..

since 2017, only two times the race was won by polesitter, 2022 (Max) and 2024 (Carlos)

P3 is the best position to start in but we can't dismiss Norris being almost a second quicker..even if he lost the lead at turn 1 he would surely get it back. A P2 P3 finish would be extraordinary the team should focus on protecting that from the Mercs and Verstappen

It depends how good the car is in dirty air compared to the car in front. The following car can lose a lot of time in turns 4 through 11, and 12 through 17.

Max doesn't think he has the pace so theres potential they can get a double podium, they just need to keep it clean into turn 1, the last two races here one of the top 3 cars have ran off into the grass at turn 1
