Is there a good/reliable HD stream to follow the test on?

Sky discussing how Newey couldn't possibly have designed a dud. I will not stand for this MP4-18 erasure!
Main issue was the gearbox I think, something about overheating and damaging the floor which made the car unstable, but yes, the points stands, Newey has the best record, but he has good and bad days as all of us.
He also concluded it needed a whole new chassis due to aero instability caused by the side pods, which he eventually got to deliver via the 19B. Not getting to do that sooner, and being outvoted on the decision, is apparently the main reason he decided to leave Mclaren.
And really worth remembering that the 19B was excellent. Was very close in competitiveness to the dominant F2004, and probably would have been just as competitive overall with a top driver in the seat. Just came too late of course.

It's kind of hilarious how hard people are having to work to find some argument that Newey isn't all that great.

Engine problem for Stroll, clear as day. Quit, and locked the rears.

A few years ago this kind of thread would be bursting with activity during the testing days . Anyone else feels the same? Feels so quiet especially given that we had a huge reg change…

Looks like Piastri and Norris have both set their 1:34.0 times on Hard tires.

According to f1debrief both LEC and NOR set their best times of the morning session on the prototype (C3?) tyre

Russell did multiple prep laps, put a 1:33.7 in on the C3s, rolled through the pits, and now he is on a long-ish run... Shows how far we are from actual proper qualy attempts, still...

Thanks for clarification. Formula Timing doesn't seem to be too reliable on that front, especially with the lack of differentiation on the C1/C2 and C3/C4.
