70th win for Max. He's 2/3 on his way to the all time record (105), and I don't see Hamilton adding much to that in his current form. In 5 seasons (2021-2025) he has won 60 races, an average of 12 per season. It's an astonishing number of wins under any circumstance, but even more insane given the fact that at least 3 of those seasons were contested by other cars that were just as fast or faster. I don't think we've ever seen this level before.
Verstappen is more consistent than even Schumacher. Most consistent driver of all time and I don't think there's much of a debate here either.
Call a spade, a spade.

Will Red Bull be able to turn this momentum into a working setup for AD FP1...Is that too much to ask?
Its way too much to ask. Expecting the RB21 to work is like hoping for a lottery win every weekend.

If you are a 90s kid, it will appeal to the inner 10 yr old. It's childish but brings out the laughs.

What are the odds of RBR putting Hadjar in the second car for AD? It can’t be worse than Tsunoda and if he somehow makes it work and qualifies right behind Max he can actually be of any help

Zero. He wouldn't even have all practice sessions, as they need to field a rookie for FP1.

If that is true, hadjar gave the best post race interview ever; " I could not care less right now"

Ah ofcourse!
Interesting that Norris also has 1 FP session less. Won’t be helping him

I had to double check as well, but at McLaren Piastri is car #1. For Norris' car the rookie tests are already completed

When ? when did Tsunoda drive within a few tenths of Verstappen ? If you are referring to the SQ and Sprint, it was because Verstappen car was setup poorly and was having vibrations/jumping/bouncing (whatever he was complaining about) while Tsunoda, who was running a different floor (the Mexico one he prefers) and different setup and didn't have the same issue. Please don't feed the narrative that Tsunoda 'has become better' , he has abjectively failed. In fact, I even think that he is doing no better over the 21 races, than how Lawson did in the 2 races he got to do.

If I understood correctly from the F1TV commentary yesterday, Max was running an older engine, not the new one. Anyone know why, my hopium is telling me they want to save the strongest for the last race ?

Oscar was done dirty by McLarens call this week, if they had double stacked both, Lando would have been in deep trouble, as he would have to wait for all incoming cars or risk a unsafe release. MCL chose the strat that affected Lando the least and in doing so reduced Oscars chances of being a WDC significantly, even a split strat would suit Oscar. Oscar coming 1st and Lando 5th-7th would have completely switched the WDC.

So, going into Abu Dhabi, I'm not sure how much Oscar would be willing to play the team game, considering the things that have happened to him this season.

Let's hope Red bull get things perfect this week and hope for the best.
