Lewis Hamilton driving standards

Post

Ive never been a fan of his, mainly for his disregard of the rules, but today must be a new low point in the career of Lewis Hamilton. Afterwards he complained the stewards are out for him and even played the race card, saying maybe because it was because he is black.

I dont want to make this a bash thread but he has to share some of the blame on Massa, Maldonado? And the move on Sutil, forcing all cars into evasive actions and got Petrov in the wall? Very ugly.

It was a joke and maybe he is right!

As for the overtakes, that is why Hamilton is the most exciting driver in F1! This is what F1 needs! Can't wait for the 2011 highlight reel.

in terms of overtake. I prefer Kobayashi, ones with better and fun personality.
Lewis winning the title in 2008 was also considered lucky.

I'm not a fan of Hamilton at all, but I agree with n smikle.

We want overtaking, and overtaking attempts in F1.

Hamilton put it on the line in Monaco, even after failing on his first overtaking attempt. My hat off to him for providing a spectacle, and showing that overtaking in F1 is still not always easy.

Oh and his post-Monaco GP comments, and his driving are two separate issues. Don't blur the two together.

Now you laugh, Mr. LOL, but some day, when we all are dead and we go to GENIUS HEAVEN you will cry and gnash your teeth, dressed in black and standing on the left. Mortal sin is not to play with, and reading articles like THAT won't take you into Purgatory, much less into Heaven.

This is not a LOL thread, this is a LOCK thread! Now you're going to mock Lewis just because he's black and slow! What's the fun in winning if you're white and fast? Ah? Ah? Answer that! And, no I'm NOT YELLING!

What's the point in overtaking if you don't crash lesser drivers?

We want more of this inside overtaking crashing into the rear end wheels! Actually, this should represent a penalty for Maldonado for not moving away. Darn wetshirts!

Wasn't Jimmy Hendrix communist? Yeah, he definitely was. He played the Russian anthem at Woodstock, didn't he?

How can he be blamed for the incident with Sutil.

If you had watched the race you would have seen Sutil had hit the barrier at Tabac and broken his rear wheel, before Hamilton was alongside him going into the Swimming Pool. And this was because Sutil was all over the road with his damaged car. Hamilton backed off and Alguersauri crashed into the back of him resulting in Petrov's incident. I suppose this was Hamilton's fault as well.

What? Are you moving to the dark side, Project Four? Hamilton is NEVER at fault. It was Sutil fault for going all over the place, while Hamilton, keeping the race line, crashed with everybody and his dog. How unfair is that?

Look, Mr. Hendrix at least gives us a reasonable quote. I couldn't agree more with him. Perhaps he's not the communist I feared him to be.

ive never been a big fan of hamilton, but he has grown on me because of his exciting driving and never give up aggressive attitude during the races.

A driver i was a big fan of was Montoya, some what of the same style and ridiculous penalties helped to drive him away from the sport.

How you dare to compare this guy Montoya with Hamilton? He was a Colombian, for the love of Pete! Hwe never said he was the best driver in the world, duh.

Moreover, he wasn't black, just deep tanned! And he was stupid enough to say what he thought! ... and people wonder why he didn't last at McLaren.

BTW, when did Montoya retired from racing?

Deeply, deeply... my heart still bleeds. Sob. I will try to recover, slowly and painfully. No, no, there is no need to feel guilty. Go and have fun, leave me here alone, I will press the shirts while you drink with your friends.

I think if it was a rookie (instead of Lewis) that took out 2 cars in the same race. everyone will be calling for FIA to ban him from F1.
