The Flying Lap

Post

This is a great series of webcasts, hosted by Journalist Peter Windsor.

He has been joined by Craig Scarborough on a few episodes and these are very informative. In a recent broadcast Peter Windsor had Pirelli's Technical Director, Paul Hembery, join him.

There are some great insights in to the thinking Pirelli have put in to the construction of the tyres for this season and how the teams and drivers have adapted to them. In particular the last 15-20 minutes is very informative.

Dear TFL viewers and fans,

After a lot of serious consideration, we have decided to stop producing shows for The Flying Lap. We have been overwhelmed by fan support and have enjoyed every minute producing the show. It has been a labour of love that unfortunately, in this economy, didn't financially justify the time and effort put in by the whole team. We thank Peter Windsor for his participation, his support and his unwavering effort in making TFL the best it could be and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

Downloads for TFL episodes will no longer be available but we will continue to maintain our YouTube channel. Once again, thank you everyone for your commitment and contribution to TFL.

Best Regards

As the announcement states - they will maintain existing media. They just won't make new content.

Probably if he had replaced Anderson with Scalabroni

Sad loss, never caught a live one and the download speeds were always 1995-spec, which can't have helped.

Such a great mix of guests, from driver coaches to scarbs to the surprised-TD-just-leaving-Luton-airport specials.
