My son and I are having an argument about the Indy 500 relative to qualifying. I stand firm that during a good qualifying run, the driver is fully into the throttle the entire lap, including through the corners. Speed may scrub off due to the corner, but they never come off the throttle. My son thinks they let off and pick up the throttle. He is wrong. Yes?
