I'm amazed, don't really know what to believe of it.
First though it was an April 1 joke, but it's posted on 16 April

Anyway a nice idea maybe for publicity if you can pay it... although I would think naming the chicanes "Sauber" would be more realistic for the article since Peter Sauber is said to be paying for this.

Bad joke IMO. I know this goes against the grain of the 'sink or swim' nature of F1, and yes Jaques does have a tendency to rub a lot of people up the wrong way but i've got a lot of time for the bloke. It does appear though that he is running out of time to prove everyone wrong. Martin Brundle was reported as saying it appears his F1 career has gone backwards. Starting with pole position in his first race for Williams where he would have won if it wasn't for losing oil with only a handful of laps to go...to zero points for a midfield team where it appears he will end his career.

of course its a joke lol. The idea is that the chicane is caused by JV's car on the track....in that the cars have to swerve around him. There r throwaway lines to show this:

May not feature in ALL races - a refrence to JV's increasingly likely sacking

Moveable chicanes - cos his car moves.

It's just an April fools prank thts all
