Ironically it's often the other way around - race track being the problem/solution to tire fall off. One of the tracks that tire would go to had been recently resurfaced - very fast, very high load. Can't bring a soft tire because they'll just get hot and fail, so you have to bring something with some guts. Brand new track surfaces tend not to wear tires much.. and all together, you get a situation where you can run tons of laps with no fall off. That is certainly the case again now with several repaved surfaces. Atlanta (one of the tracks referenced in the video) is on the other end of the spectrum - old, worn out pavement with tons of fall off.
