Webber calls Vettel "Michael"

Post

Don't know if anyone else heard this while the drivers were talking in the pre-podium room, but I'm very certain that Webber said "They did well to get the safety car..where Michael stopped".

Who did he say this to? His good friend Alonso. No doubt they have had conversations previously comparing Vettel's politic-tactics to Michael Schumacher.

I actually took above video as an oppertunity to gets some laughs out of the recommended family guy clips, making this topic not completely useless.

Wow, you guys really are dull. The politics between Webber and Vettel not interesting? Other drivers labelling Vettel as Schumacher not interesting? Martin Brundle would have made a huge deal of it had he heard it.

Jealous much?

No it's not interesting. And neither do I see where we should be jealeous of. Take your fanboyism or w/e you want to call it to another forum.

fail

That other drivers are comparing Vettel to Schumacher is extremely interesting and and very relevant. Vettel was booed on the Melbourne podium and the crowd cheered when his gearbox failed at Silversone...

Just a bit of advice for your future posts:

1. Be diplomatic by not targeting a certain driver and hammering / whaling on them (as most members and fans don't appreciate the ying yang / indirect hate posts).

2. As Cam stated...a graph would help...or some youtube videos eluding to what you believe you heard from the telecast.

A part from that...try to avoid direct bombshells / wayward pot shots as it can easily annoy some people.

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

First of all, you're right to open a topic to discuss. You chose the right General Thread. The topic was too, hmm, I have no words. If you had provided a range if drivers doing the same thing over a year and graphed it, that would be kind of interesting in way. Not really earth shattering, but a weird fact. That is where you went wrong.

For everyone else - a disgrace. Instead of trying to help this member to post good info you just sat back in your thrones and cast away. You should be ashamed. This is not how members help out. I'm honestly saddened by what I've seen here.

If someone has missed the mark, tell them, be constructive, as it helps all of us. Mods can you please remove some of the down votes for this member and hopefully they have learnt what is required to be a productive member in here.
