How soon will Vettel / RBR wrap up 2013?

Post

11 races done, 8 more to go.

Vettel
5 x wins
1 x 2nd
2 x 3rd
2 x 4th
1 x DNF

Average 17.9 points per race

If Vettel win the next 5 race and Alonso finishes 2nd, he will be crowned champion at India.

I will take a stab at Abu Dhabi.

He would need to finish their with a 50 point gap, which I can see him managing.

I think the Ferrari is crap compared to Alonso's capability. I'll take a stab and say India or even Japan depending on how it goes at Monza.

Or that the second driver of Ferrari is not very helpful for the cause at all..

It doesn't really matter how you look at it. The point is that Merc will get second in WCC and not Ferrari although they have already said that they will not compromize 2014 for 2013. Ferrari might do that to some extend, but I still do not see them giving Alonso the car to win this WDC.

Definitely by Abu Dhabi, likely by India, considering Vettel's strong run in the past come the Asian flyaways

Plot twist: Mercedes comes out swinging after Monza and Vettel start experiencing something called "bad luck" which means an end to an era.

About 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000015% of that happening but "I reject your reality and substitute my own" ;)

5 wins is usually good enough to win a championship. So yeah it will be pretty soon.
He needs to have really rotten luck not to win 2013.

I wouldn't say 5, but I'd agree with 6. Having said that, Kimi won 7 and didn't win a title... I think that was 03? 05?

Kimi won just single race in 2003.

He and Micheal won 7 races at 2005 and 2006 while Alonso also won 7 races with the WDC both years.
