Sean Edwards passed away...

I've just heard the news, that Sean Edwards, racing driver, son of Guy Edwards (former F1 driver), had tragic accident in Australia. He was giving some advice to yet unknown 20 years old driver, sitting in the passanger seat when the driver lost control of porsche and hit the wall at Queensland circuit. Driver was transported to hospital in critical condition.

I hope he did not suffer in the fire, and seeing from the damage sustained to the left hand side (passenger side) it was completely crushed.

That must have been one heck of an impact, I didn't even recognise it as a Posche.

The car doesn't look that fire damaged, I wonder whether the burn marks near the wall are from the tyre barrier burning.

A tragic loss, at least he died doing something he loved.

What a horrible story, his father Guy Edwards was the one who saved Nikki Laudia in 76 - didn't know that
