Awesome video.

Can anybody hear what is Alonso saying to his race engineer? I can understand the second part "...racing to win. What more (do) I have to do?", but I can't quite understand what's he saying just before that.

Those 2 pit lane fires we saw in the video reminded me of another one involving one of the Speed TV's F1 commentators - Steve Matchett. He was one of Bennetton's mechancis who was on fire after several L of fuel were spilled all over the red-hot brake discs in Hockenheim '94.

Pay attention to the two mechanics handling the right front tire...those guys just knew what was about to take place, and they just took off. I would, honestly, like to know what was going through their minds right at that instant. Those guys must've known that there is a chance they might not come out alive. Scary...

IIRC that was on Verstappen's car wasn't it? LAT have a great picture from that event...when I say great I mean, great as in, really dramatic, looks amazing. I'll see if I can find it somewhere...

Don't mention it...

I've downloaded it yesterday and I share your emotions about this great film. Before this I've only seen some photos from that GP and nothing else.

Funny, but even at first GP the situation was more-less the same as today. Renault, Mercedes and FIAT as top dogs

Another thing, even though Renault was the only car with driveshaft and differential Louis realized that since there are only 4 corners at very long circuit having a functional differential would mean loss of power so he blocked differential!
