Longer injector to intake valve runner length for turbos?

All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

Longer injector to intake valve runner length for turbos?

Post

Do turbo engines benefit from longer injector to intake valve runner lengths?
By giving fuel evaporation/atomization more runner length to cool the fuel/air mixture charge thus being able to use more boost or a higher compression ratio without pinging.

I heard most road cars use port injection because of emission regulations.
