steering wheels - what are the new controls?

All that has to do with the power train, gearbox, clutch, fuels and lubricants, etc. Generally the mechanical side of Formula One.

steering wheels - what are the new controls?

Post

"Everything is different. It's so complex and far, far beyond what we've had before," mused Hamilton. "As a driver, we have more switches on the steering-wheel than we have ever had before, so it's a big challenge. This is going to be a seriously challenging year for every team."
So has anyone worked out what the new controls are?

Let's see, there should be controls for:
-fuel mix
-diff entry
-diff mid-corner
-diff exit
-drink
-radio
-pit speed limiter
-msg ok
-mistake/flag data button?
-MGU-K harvesting
-brake bias (moved to the wheel this year?)
-reverse/neutral
-menu up/down
-engine map

Those would have all been present on last year's car. This year there's supposedly only a map per tire, at least for the throttle to torque demand mapping. I would guess there is maybe a MGU-H setting? What else might the teams have dreamed up for the driver to deal with?

Dear FIA, if you read this, please pm me for a redesign of the Technical Regulations to avoid finger nose shapes for 2016! :-)
