Christian Klien

Post

I have two questions

1) I believe in the Brazilian, Christian Klien did a remarkable qualifying lap that either Charlie Whiting (sp?) congradulated him a job well done after adjusting the fuel loads between all the cars because he was astonished in what Klien did with the RB1. Did anybody else here about this story?

Also of note, Christian Klien was keeping pace at the end of the Chinese Grand Prix with Renault and Mclaren.

2) Did anybody notice that in the Italian Grand Prix, Ferrari was actually close to Mclaren and Renault in terms of speed and lap times, but for the rest of the season they were nowhere near that close ever again, how could one race change so differently the results?
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Monza will do that.

Whatsmore one of Ferrari's main problems was grip from their Bridgestones. At Monza there are so many straights, grip is not so important.

As for Klien, how fast would you go to avoid loosing your job?

I though that Ferrari's result from Monza in 2005 was their worst one since
1995 when they were 1-2 and than camera from Alesi's car fell off and demaged Berger's suspension which forced him to retire while Alesi himself had to retire too due to wheel baring failure?
