F1 Prediction Game (Interforum League) 2014

The season is about to start, so it's time for you to make your predictions for this year's interforum league!

If you are late joining, don't worry, you will get some points for each race you missed (usually 20), and you can still help the forum in the league.

How to play:

• Register on zdkf1and start your nickname with “f1tec”. (If you forget, please edit your nickname here.)
• Add the other entrants whose nicknames start with "f1tec” as your friends.
• Predict the pole position, pole time and top 10 finishers for each race.
• The prediction deadline is 10pm (GMT) on the Thursday before each race (except Monaco).
• How the scoring works on zdkf1

In addition to helping f1technical fight against other f1 forums for the (poorly photoshopped) league trophy, you will be competing for individual awards including: individual champion (most points on zdkf1); 6 tenths award (for most league points scored); quali trophy (for best pole time predictor, currently held by f1technical's lotus88), and the much-coveted bernie medal (for most victories).
F1technical finished 6th out of 12 last season 5th out of 11 in 2012, and 9th out of 13 in 2011.

There's one week until the prediction deadline for the first race. Driver classifications should be added to the website shortly.

Australia Results

It was a surprisingly high scoring weekend considering the uncertainty before the race about the true pecking order and the worries over reliability.
46 people (and one cat) from 11 different forums made predictions for the opening race, which compares pretty favourably to past seasons (52 in 2013; 36 in 2012; 46 in 2011).
A warm welcome to new entrants motorsportforums who have taken the free spot in the league caused by gpfocus closing their forum.

The 2012 champion silverarrow takes the win for not606; his fifth career victory.
Well done to f1onboard for scoring their first ever league points.
F1technical start the season well with lotus88 claiming 4th and atis 7th. =D>

The rain once again meant that no one got close to the actual pole time, but anfieldrap from ja606 did get the bonus point for being the closest despite being over two seconds off.

Steveaki13 takes motorsportforums' first victory.
Lotus88 gets 3rd and atis 6th for f1technical which moves f1technical into the lead in the league , but it is still close at this early stage of the season with just 15 points separating 1st to 5th place.
