We already knew that Bush knew what Katrina would do with New Orleans and other city's...
It's his fault too! The embankments weren't restored because Bush-government didn't have money left after spending it all to the war in Iraq...so in stead of taking care of his people, he had to go and play cowboy in Irak....
As I said many times before: SHAME ON YOU MR. BUSH!!
No offence to Bush lovers but come on George, if in doubt, say nowt!
P.S. nowt is a Northern English term for nothing, for our foreign friends.

I think its cool the way President Bush could create huricanes.
He could tell them to hit Florida, New Orleans, Mexico, Cuba, where ever he feels like it. Pretty impressive stuff.
Don't mess with him or he may send katrina 2 your way.
Sorry if this offences any of our American visitors....but Bush is the worst president ever! I really don't know why Americans still have faith in him! America... Nr1 country in the world, but...everybody really starts to hate America, more than ever (well, they also did when Bush Sr. was president!).
I just don't understand how a nation like America can have inhabitants who vote for a president that does nothing else than harm his OWN people and harm other countries and there people...I just can't understand how Bush got re-elected!
I call op on all the 'Michael Moores' in the world....say as it is and don't follow the idiotic idea's of a man in the white house!
In fairness, calling a single country no1 in the world is a road we should probably not go down.
All contries are equal at the top, as long as everyone thinks that.
Comments regarding M Moore I agree entirely.

All countries should be equal...I agree TOTALLY! But America and a lot of other countries think America is nr1!
I think that the EU-countries have to stop sucking up to America! And other countries should stop trying to behave like they think America would like! And much other countries hate America because...well...America only goes into countries they think are important (read have oil). When did America do something for African countries?
It are things like that I mean Tom, I really don't mean that I really believe America is nr1!
Hope you get my point
Isn’t there a best way to call the United States and its people?
When we talk about America and Americans that includes us poor Brazilians who are not related to any recent war or hurricane and just want to find a way to feed our people and develop our industry in a sustainable way without being exploited by rich northern countries.
I'm sorry, but if you were in America the week before Katrina hit, you knew about it. Not sure, but if you are dumb enough to build a city under water, you had it coming. What angers me the most is that my tax dollars are going back into those stupid levys, which they could throw billions at and a Cat 5 hurricane would still topple.
Big parts of the Holland are under sea level so there is no excuse in that. Also, “tax dollars” of people left to die were also taken from them so I think they and their families and friends have all reason in the world to say that they were treated unjust by Government.
The problem isn't in fact that flood could be prevented but in fact that people could have been evacuated instead of being left to die like it was somewhere in Africa. Not building flood barriers is not as much crime as it was knowing that the hurricane is comming and still leaving thousands to die while US army spends millions 10.000 miles away!
I watched both "Bowling Columbine" and "Fahrenheit 9/11" and I really, really can't understand how it is possible that among several hundreds of millions of citizens of USA a man like Bush with intellectual capacity of a 6 year-old could be elected for president in first place, not to mention re-election.
I really admire USA for all the freedom it gives to a person and many other good sides but conservativism nurtured by fake puritans and fake Christians that are so far from being 1% of what they claim to be is simply awful and in many ways not much different from fascism. Except open minded intellectuals and artist I really don’t see any good on political scene of USA. Republicans are hard-core conservatives belonging to the 19th century while most of the democrats are soft-core conservatives belonging to the first half of 20th century.
People scared of Republicans vote for Democrats and that is why Democrats actually need Republicans because without them their voters would search for some different more humanistic and more open-minded parties. Social-democrat party and similar ones are what USA is missing and that can be very dangerous.
Worst of all is that now it seams that '60s never happened because there you have a president much worse than Nixon ever was. Don't think that I'm a fan of democrats either. For me that is the real problem of USA - having two parties changing on top from time to time with no real democracy at all.
Clinton was democrat, had 2 turns and was continuing same warmongering politics as Bush senior before him of Bush junior after him. There I mentioned nepotism... father and son on top of the USA - that is unofficial monarchy, not democracy.
I hope that USA will become “Land of the free and home of the free” instead of “Land of the free and home of the brave”.
Bush and his supporters are really racists and fascists without a slightest doubt. I’m not apologizing to anyone in advance if they find themselves in characterization, events or actions I mentioned.
In a nutshell, I like USA the way Michael Moore does so if you want to hate me for that go ahead I don’t care.

Right, I see a lot of people liking Micheal Moore here for his good old Fahrenheit 911 video.
Well, you should appreciate that nothing is what it seems. Famous philosphy of the CIA, and a lot of other very clever people.
Micheal moore works for George Bush and the aim of his documentry was to just convince your head that Saddam was a bad bad man! Obviously there are a lot of clever ways to do it and this is one of it.
Mate, nothing is what it seems lol, anyways its a big game and not every can understand it...
Hell, California voted for Kerry. But at that point of the election, it was pretty much voting for the lesser of two evils. Kerry didn't help himself by changing his views all the time, even though he said that these changes were due to being more and more informed of whatever. In that case, John Kerry didn't seem "strong enough," at least to me, to be president. I didn't vote anyway, and I'm a registered Republican. I didn't want Bush either. Last time I checked, his approval rating hit an all-time low late last year.
If you want to talk about how stupid Americans are in voting for him, Florida would be a great example. There were like three recounts in that state. How hard is it to check a damn box.
As Bill Mahar said, the people who are for the war, should go to war themselves. Bush is just using religion as a tool to drive his redneck followers.
Bush is like the Max Mosley of world governments. Probably dumber tho
Bring back wider rear wings, V10s, and tobacco advertisements
Hmm interesting topic and prop the first non tech one I've seen here in a while.
I live in Oregon which is a progressive state and a good majority of the people here are enthusiastic bush haters. Personally I think Bush should be impeached whether it’s for domestic spying, the misleading of congress on WMDs, Valerie Plaine or anything else the dumb ass has done.
Anyways keep hopes up there are elections this fall and if the democrats can get their act together the conservatives will lose their stranglehold on the government.

Yes that can happen but it won't change the system. You'll get democrats for several years on top and than republicans will win again and the cycle never ends.
What you need is not just impeachment of president but putting him on trial for what he has done. Once that a president and his associates end up in jail the system will be changed because all following presidents and governments there will fear that such thing can happen to them too if they commit similar crimes.
Basically, USA needs a bit of revolution in constitution and laws dealing with rights and responsibilities of highest government officials including the president.
An impeachment is basicaly an indictment and is operated like a public hearing.
You are right the system will basicaly be the same but the problem right now is that the conservitives hold the house, the senate and the congress and since they are all elected we can't force one to be democatic to mantain a balence no matter how much we would like to.
