Or is it 102nd or 103rd?

Button has managed to survive as a potential race winner and potential champion?! for another race.

This time the excuse is "CLUTCH"

He must see how Kimi races!

I am getting doubt about his chances of winning race this year even with a good car!

What you guys think?

tru he hasnt won a race yet, and its kinda really getting repetitive now...

but me, not because im a honda fan, believe that he'll definitely, without a doubt, win a race this season (hopefully this weekend). The honda seems more than capable and all he needs is a problem free weekend.

i think once he wins his first, they will start to come more often too... :lol:

For the upcoming reason, I'm glad I do not live in Britain. The English press has been touting Button as the next Mansell for many years now, over and over and over. It must be a boring headache for many fans to keep hearing the same stuff from the press.. Button this.. Button that.. Button said so and so, Button la la la la.
He's a good racer, and people have good reason to be his fans. And yes, he may win one someday. But after over a hundred races, the time for excuses and talk is long past.

I don't mean to be rude but I'm sick of this Button's first win talk. If you were observant enough to see Button trying to get off the line on the warm up lap then you would have seen hm struggling to get away then.
In England no, we don't hear Button this, Button that... but if we did, what do you expect? He's the only English driver with any chance of winning races and chanpionships at the moment.
The guy isn't superhuman. No-one can win if they haven't got the car underneath them... no-one! People always say, "I bet Schumacher would have won a race in 2004 if he was driving the B.A.R." Yes, he probably would have, because he wouldn't have had to beat himself would he?! Mansell got trounced by De Angelis at Lotus, and took an age to win his first race with nowhere near the amount of podiums to his name that Button has.

If it was that easy then everyone would be doing it!!

Throughout his career none of his teammates ever won a race in there cars, so basically the car he gets is not competitive enough

Without meaning to offend Button fans, I thought I would stick my two pennies worth in.

As someone who lives in England I am getting fed up of reading in the british press why button didn't win the previous race. There are 11 teams in the f1 world championship and it would be good to read about an excellent start to the season. For example a qualifying session that added a bit of excitment to the spectators, and a race which had over taking and a battle between Schumacher and Alonso, not to forget Kimi's podium and Rosburg's debut.

Why don't they concentrate on other British drivers who are also out there at the weekend such as Davidson and Coulthard. Instead if I read once more about Button and Coulthards nights out I will scream......

Plus you guys are lucky, in Canada, the newspaper I get only shows a small article on one of the last pages of the sport section, and they are have a big paregraph on Jac because he is Canada :shock:

In a way we are lucky, but on a saturday we will have a 2 page spread about the race last year and who they believe will do well etc. but on a monday following the race we have a third of a page (if we're lucky) about f1 and 30 pages of football.

But thats why the internet is so good

JB can reach podium but not win for sure :lol: . Barichello will win before JB does that , JB can win if Honda use the 2004 car 8)
