Did you try to sit in one?

Is it just me or is that a Toyota with a single keel on Bridgestone tires? If I'm not mistaken, the last single-keel car made by Toyota was the TF105A, but it had Michelin tires.

BTW, nice pictures!

Tomba and I thought that it was the nose of the R24 and the rest was of the R25. We think that they just put a number 1 on the nose.

Lots of mutated cars on that show

I think they've put nose from R26 because they already had number one on it (no matter how stupid this sounds but I think that is the reason). Nose is definitely from R26 while front wing seams to be the one from R24 :!:

Toyota is another mutant as f1.redbaron noticed.

If you want to sit on it, ask Manchild to do it, take a picture of you then nail it to the nose cone section

This is what it looks like to me after comparing pictures:

A base chassis of the R24
Nose cone of R26
Front wing R24, Suzuka spec
Engine cover R25

That kind of makes me wonder if Renault maintained the same rear suspension with going from R24 to R25. The reason why I wonder is that this R25 engine cover with shark gills fits perfectly around the rear suspension arms.

It is just the same at Goodwood. They aren't going to have the time or resources to let a display team run around Europe with the latest spec cars, especially seeing as any team is going to have quite a few old chassis lying around. And as for the Toyota, they aren't going to display cars with old sponsors on. Nine out of ten people wouldn't be as eagle eyed as us lot and are just happy to see a Formula 1 car.

thats what i was thinking, it does not look quite right to be the 2006 nose. I was looking for the Keels to see if the V or single to see if it the year befors car with a 2006 body shell
