in my free time I am very interested in Formula One. Since I am starting a PhD in Informatics I thought it would be a good idea to combine this with my personal interests
I am especially interested in all kind of electronics in formula one cars. Further I find the whole data acquisition, team radio, transmission etc. very interesting. From the view point of my study, I am interested in software engineering in general, testing, modeling and software safety. In addition, I find data management and databases (including modeling data) very interesting.
Since it is very hard to find anything (books or internet sites) about these topics on formula one, I want to ask if somebody knows books or other references which deal with these topics. Moreover, I would also welcome some ideas, in which possible research in the topics mentioned above, could look like?
