Option to disable "pinned menu bar"?

Post

Hello Management team.

Is there an option to disable the new "pinned menu bar?"
It's a little disorienting for me because of my condition.

If you are using Google Chrome you can disable JavaScript for this website and the pinned menu bar is then disabled, I am notn sure what other scripts would also be blocked but I have just tried it and it stopped the menu being pinned.

To easily disable JavaScript in Chrome browsers right click the little i in a circle that is to the left of the web address at the top of the webpage. Half way down the list that pops up you can see an entry for javascript (it usually says allowed by you) click that to toggle the setting on or off.

I hope this helps

@platinum Did you get this resolved in the meantime?

... sorry I just stumbled across this thread.

As for disabling JS, that works indeed, but I'm afraid it will break a few things. Quick reply might not work, ads will fail, rating will be impossible, the scroll-to-top won't work, my site usage statistics will fail and probably a few more bits which I can't think of right now.

I'm curious if more people find the sticky menubar annoying?

I find it acceptable but useless, since I don't use it.

One enhancement I'd like is when I'm in New Posts is to have a 'mark all read' button like there is in the main Forum view

It would be nice if it didn't move around though. As you scroll down it jumps sideways to show the logo which is messy

it is when you scroll the page down, you will see that the blue bar at the top stays visible --> pinned to your screen and doesn't move with the content

Not at all, i'll keep using it even if there's a disable option.
