I honestly do not know what they can do.

Install wheel covers I guess...
Nah, hubcaps or smth would probably be banned for 'reducing drag' :wink:

A more FIA-y solution would be to remove wheels all together, have them powered by a caterpillar track moving underneath the car.

why not just make a fixed track the cars can race on, in miniature size so the drivers can control them from the pits by wire
four rings to rule them all
