Berger puts pressure on Williams

Post

<img align=left src="http://www.f1technical.net/images/news/ ... jpg">After a statement earlier this week of Mario Thiessen, the associate sports director of BMW besides Berger, Gerhard said the real challenge is now on Williams.
To be on par of even outperform the Ferraris next year, it is up to Williams to make a giant leap in the chassis development. Berger said a start from fresh is a possible option, and maybe the only one to revolutionize the car enough to challenge Ferrari next year.
‘Williams has already modified their aerodynamics team and we’ve also offered them help in other fields. We are able to offer much help with our know-how.’
Barger concluded by saying the main objective is to equal Ferrari at the start of the season, doing better than Ferrari next year might prove impossible.
