Hi All!
I am an fossilised engineer from the so called golden age of motor sport, (pre-carbon and pre ground effect) living in Australia. During the telecast of the recent Azerbaijan GP I saw, and confirmed, fore and aft movement of the upper and lower wishbones during tyre warming zig zagging from the on board cameras of two cars. I am assuming that this is some kind of geometric technique that has escaped me and I am hoping someone can enlighten me. I confirmed the movement from a video recording of the sighting lap before the start and again during one of the safety car periods.
Note: By "Fore and aft" I mean rather than "up an down".
