Hi, this month marks the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing, upon watching a documentary I was informed some 30,000 skilled tradesmen and designers were retrenched on the day of the landing.
In Australia we recently lost 3 car manufacturers in an 18 month period, many toolrooms and cnc repetition shops folded as a result.
