Grand Prix 1906 - 2006

No one talks about it and I know big parade of old Grand Prix cars was planned in Paris but can’t find anything about it in the news. Anyone from France with info or link?

They did a parade on the Champs Elysées a few weeks ago, possibly the week before Silverstone (hence the 4 June) but I’m not sure, I saw a few minutes reportage on news but I missed the first part. The reportage was a Sunday afternoon but I don’t know if the parade was the Saturday or Sunday morning. Anyway most of recent F1 cars where just on display only older ones actually took part to the parade.

Damn! It seems I totally missed it. I was aware of the event, but for me it was something planned for July, maybe the week before Magny-Cours... :?
I'll try to find more info and post it here when I'm done.

I did it myself. It took a lot of time but here it is now - the video of 1906 Grand Prix (including on-board camera view :wink: )

Finally! Thank you manchild, that was the one I was hoping for in the "Renault history in GP" topic. :wink: But strangely, I missed to see the on board view while looking it at home. Now I'm at work, so I can't check again, but I'll do tonight.

Back to the parade on champs élysées, it was effectivly on the begining of june, so I missed it for sure. But it doesn't change too much since I havn't any numeric camera, so I wouldn't have been able to take pics anyway...
