Spanish First Division League local strikers quality questioned, struggle to won Pichichi trophy in last 12 seasons

Dani Güiza played for Mallorca in 2007-08 season only

In last 12 seasons Spanish First Division League (La Liga Primera División) the topscorers are dominated by three foreigners (Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suárez). Last time the local player won the Pichichi Trophy in Spanish First Division League was Dani Güiza when Güiza was played for RCD Mallorca in 2007-08 season. I believe local strikers in Spanish First Division League are struggling because of skills and nature of competition. Foreign strikers are favoured while the local strikers are ignored.

Same would happen in Italia, UK, Germany, France, Argentina, Brazil and any other country/league if best two or three strikers in the world (CR7 and Messi) play that league, specially when they play to powerful teams like Real Madrid and Barça who provide them more scoring opportunities than any other team

Compare the numbers they´ve achieved to win those trophies with any other country, they´d have won same trophies in any other country, beating any other local striker
