Forbes reports Honda’s “marketing gurus are seriously considering the launch of a next-generation S2000 that could surface to celebrate the coupe’s 25th anniversary in 2024”.

335bhp in British numbers.

I would have preferred a mid-engine vehicle with the 221KW J37 V6 though (considering Honda already has a transverse 6-speed manual for the J-series after all), but oh well -- there is no escape from eco turbo fours. :lol:

Yes, an Audi RS3 sound would certainly generate hype for the S2000, but it has been quite some time since Honda produced an inline-five engine...

As a long time Honda enthusiast, this is good news.

But I am afraid the car will be horribly designed and quite ugly.

Honda hasn't made a good looking car in over 2 decades.

I agree, the S2000 was probably their last good looking car. On the other hand 1999-2009 overlaps with a lot of that "over 2 decades".
