That is all.......
I think Damon was let go by Frank....DaveKillens wrote:Sir Frank is famous for keeping his driver salaries as low as possible. Why do you think Damon left?
But after Mark Webber's incredible effort (only to be let down by his equipment) at Hochenheim, this may be a mistake by Williams.
I was never quite sure what was going on, I'm pretty sure there was some dispute involving money, but, as you say, doesn't seem plausible that Arrows could've paid more. Apparantly it had already been confirmed he was being replaced by Frentzen a while before he won the champ in 1996I think Damon was let go by Frank....
I doubt Arrows will be paying more than Williams in 1997....
Webber is definately more experienced, and I think that's mostly why he consistently outperforms his teammate. Webber seems to be 'on it' all the time. Rosberg kinda needs encouragement, like in Bahrain, in true sportsman style, he made a mistake, then absolutely flew his car round the track, determined to make it right.Webber is much better than Rosberg. I understand that Rosberg is a rookie, but he does a lot of stupid things.
