Matt Bishop, who works at AM, confirms it will be the real car.

Good to hear. Can teams really look at something on a launch car and then get it on their own one and make it work in time for the first race?

I guess when we think about it, if you delay their knowledge of it by a week, that might be a race they miss with having a similar update, which might mean beating them in that race and winning a title, or finishing above them in the WCC.

Look at that RB, you can actually show a car and a livery, too..

Interesting to see that they went with a rather different sidepod philosophy than Haas - quite broad at the start too, but no coke-bottle, and relatively small inlets like Haas.

They've also pushed the sidepods as far forward as possible, although they've sculpted them more and appear to have a the packaging higher up.

I like the way they painted to a fake inlet to try and make it look a bit nicer!

Is that me or there is a missing pushrod on the left hand side, meaning they are hiding pullrod and photoshoped pushrod on right side?

Good thing is, it looks like there's plenty of room for differentiation between the cars. This aero concept looks way different from Haas' effort.

It's the first car we can see the DRS actuator... it's just like the old one. Do you belive this is the final solution?

Can they get away with "hanging" that front flap under the main plane?

Seems that the hangers are defacto strikes, and can generate a y250 again!

Probably the smallest cooling outlet in the turbo hybrid era.

NO BULL. Thank you Aston for having some respect for us and showing a real car.

Well spotted, on the livestream the physical model has a pushrod suspension though. On both sides :D
