HRT, Virgin and Lotus
2010 was the new breakthrough year in Formula 1 by the introduction of 3 new independent teams: Hispania, Lotus (later Caterham) and Virgin (later Marussia and Manor) but sadly 3 of them were died in 2013, 2015 and 2017 respectively! 3 of them were utilised Cosworth engines altogether.
Hispania was founded by José Ramón Carabante while Lotus (Caterham) was founded by Tony Fernandes and Virgin (later Marussia and Manor) were founded by Sir Richard Branson, John Booth and Graeme Lowdon.
