After 11 years Williams sported Mercedes logo on the driver's Race Suit, finally Williams removed Mercedes logo on driver's Race Suit and thus for the first time in history all-Mercedes-powered teams not featuring Mercedes logos on their Race Suits in 2025 season.

Mercedes now adopting Ferrari's factory-only branding exclusivity policy by showing official car branding logos on the main factory team cars and race suits.

Your thoughts on that?

Do we know if it's Mercedes not allowing customers to show their brand, or the customers themselves not willing to lose advertising space for something they're paying for?
I don't remember McLaren (since 2020) or Aston ever showing Mercedes branding, which makes even more sense when you consider that they are competitors on the automotive market.
I think Williams had a close relationship with Mercedes during the early V6 era, but have no idea what became of that. They seem to be restructuring themselves under Vowles and getting some new sponsors, so it's only fair that they don't advertise Mercedes if there's no financial benefit to it.

If this actually comes from Mercedes, maybe it has to do with them losing to a customer for the first time in the turbo era.
