It all makes more sense after testing, and one can save teams already.

Sure. Especially only the very limited amount of free changes is hard.
That's why I decided after the 2023 season to go Pro - and because these guys don't get rich but it rather helps their game to stay alive.

The initial pricing for this Season is quite interesting and also might give some headaches.
We should keep in mind, that prices were fixed already before Pre-Season-Testing started.

Teams

If a bit of what Williams was showing in PST actually was real, they look like an attractive asset to have at the beginning.
Aston seems clearly overpriced.
The Top 4 are very close together - much closer than in the last two seasons.

Drivers

We see three clear brackets
- Top 6 more or less tightly packed.
- Rookies in a Top4 team together with most of the midfield.
- Rookies in a rather bad car - oh, and Stroll of course

Initial Team suggestions
75 Mio. Budget
Teams: McL, Fer, Wil
Drivers: Oco, Gas, Hül

80 Mio. Budget
Teams: McL, Wil, Sau
Drivers: Nor, Rus, Oco

The 5 Mio. or 6.6% could buy you 3% more points.
Both suggestions are based on a strategy of maximizing Points, not Budget - although the latter might be more important in the beginning.

You can only maximize points, not budget, in the first race.
There are free changes for the second race, and they never touch the prices until after the second, IIRC.

So how has everyone been doing so far?
I had a horrible Round 1 with only 118 Points and 23rd in our League. So already 70 Points behind the Leaders - Congrats to them for navigating through this mess.
Will completely overhaul my Team for R2.
