FIAT 500 WANTS YOU

Post

There was official FIAT 500 mascot design contest for which I made 2D drawing before realising that it would be better if I had made 3D model. Since I have no experience with 3D modeling I've PM'd Monstro having im mind that he has experience with 3D and I've gave him my 2D idea so he can make 3D version and enter design contest on his own.

Unfortunately there wasn't enough time. Last evening I've contacted him and since he didn't have time to finish it he suggested that I should enter with my 2D version. I registered and found out that deadline expired two days ago

Both of us misread the deadline in regulations

So, since I can't enter anymore I present you the one and only - "Topolino"

Same here, kind of cute little car. They didn't loose the spirit of the 500.

Damn...didn't notice the deadline was a few days ago..I thought it was on the 14th or 15th.

I was using CATIA....but it's not really an animation program!

I had some dificulties in starting!

First I tried creating all the parts in a squarish format and then "modelling" them....didn't like it!

Then I tried doing each body part at a time and assembling them....didn't like the result...

Sorry for not being able to help you manchild.

Though you said if I was able to do it...and won I would keep the prize!

But deep inside I've been working with the objective of giving it to you....for me winning would be good enough for my CV! hehe

you should have entered your Max Ferrari design, or would that be pushing it?

Indeed, I gave it away with all possible glory and prize
I was only concerned that what I thought was a good idea doesn't end up without being tried out.

Don't need to be  it was your idea!

heheh

At the moment I'm trying to get as much as I can in my CV....there are 3 very important summer placements I'm applying for next summer....though all are more or less taken care of, the green light will only be given in January....so CV stuff is needed!

Well I wanted to but I wasn't satisfied with my ideas for another FIAT 500 design contest with task - "personalisation".

Here are some experimental fakeries

I'm sure that FIAT has a good grip with those bridgestones :P

The trouble with the rat-race is that even if you win, you're still a rat.
