Michael Schumacher tribute project

Post

Hello everyone! This is my first post;

I am working on a tribute project to Michael Schumacher, through a book that will have 4 volumes covering his history race by race in Formula One. It is hard work, yes, but with the greatest pleasure.

I am at the stage of organizing the photographs and, I need to identify exactly which race some of them belong to.
So far, I have more than 5500 photographs located, but there are still a few more to go. The project will have 4 books distributed as follows:

1) The debut, with a brief passage through the 1990/91 prototype world championship, Jordan and the 1991/95 Benetton years.

2) The Ferrari years, from 1996 to 1999.

3) Ferrari part two, from 2000 to 2006.

4) The Mercedes era, 2010/12.

The final idea of the work will be 30% text and 70% photographs. I intend it to be a visual tribute, rather than just text. Maybe in a size of 20 x 30 cm on the pages, with hard cover. But I will determine that later.

So, back to the beginning, I need to identify some photos. If you all could help me, I could share here the photos I want to identify. The images go from 1991 to 2006 (Approx. 400 images).

Thank you.

Ok, let's begin. Please comment on any data that may help to identify the grand prix.

This is a very small part. If we are successful I will continue to share the rest.
Thank you very much to all of you.

Well, the first picture ist most likely Hockenheim 1992, based on the grandstand that swings to the right in the background and the pitbuilding.
Second picture is Silverstone 1992, based on the Fosters and Rover add-banners and the fact that Schumacher wasn't around for Silverstone 1991.

8th and 9th picture could both be from Silverstone in 1992. Because tobacco advertisement was already banned in the UK for large racing events at that time in history and Benetton definitly used the "3 Camel" rear wing painting in Silverstone that year instead of the brand name. Also you could find a "camel" everywhere else where normaly it was together with the brand name. For instance on Schumachers helmet.
I think the only other country where F1 raced that year and tobacco adds where already outlawed on racing cars was Germany, but in Hockenheim they normally did run a super flat rear wings because of the unusual track layout..

Thank you very much Dr. Acula for the answer!
In the eighth and ninth photo everything indicated the same to me as it did to you. It is almost a fact that they correspond to Silverstone '92. Hopefully some other member will get excited about the idea and share their knowledge as well.

Of course, DJ Downforce. Even though I have a large number of photos ready to use, I would like to finish this stage so I can move on to editing the work itself.

Thank You.
