Popular opinion is that if it's a wet Sunday, Verstappen for the win.
However, the McL39 is one level above McL38 from last year, and of late Norris has learnt to set it up, the way he needs to feel confident about the front end => don't count him out.
If it's dry, the RB21 cannot match the McL39 in this long-corner constant slip angle festival - it's an easy Norris win.

What do you reckon the track temperature impact to relative performance of the RB21 to the MCL39 compared to 31+ seconds in Mexico, if Brazil’s a dry, but cooler track?

I am not convinced that a wet Sunday means a Max win. It's not like car downforce levels are going to disappear. It needs to rain a lot for Max to make any difference since it's exactly those conditions where other drivers tend to become more tentative.

I am also not convinced that RB21 cannot match the McLaren's in long-radius corners. I think they will lack a bit but if you can pole and lead, it might just be enough assuming everything else is perfect. Austin had lots of long-radius corners and the difference between the RB20 and RB21 was palpable especially in Sector 3. The car was good there. Not dominating good but good enough for Max to make a difference.

It requires a Red Bull perfect weekend to take points off the lead McLaren this weekend.
Call a spade, a spade.

How to write an 'analysis' article entirely based on last years' statistics, with no technical content at all. I wonder whether it's been written by AI, based on the 'search' it was able to do about 2024.

Apologies, but is this really correct?
I see the numbers, but looking at the actual mount of rain ... this is actually no rain at all.
0.01 - 0.09 inches on Sat.
Seems to be off to me, as I have not seen a thunderstorm with 0.04 inches of rain ...

What am I missing?

Barretto doing Barretto things. I can't remember a single article of his worth reading.

The amount of precipitation is always displayed far too low. This is the case on every weather website.

For places like Monaco, Interlagos etc which have their own 'micro-climate' I think it's best to look at the 'weekend weather' forecast only on Friday morning ; the closer to the target time we are, the more accurate will be the prediction.

This part of the season should have the triple headers.

Would it be possible to switch to a different image hosting site than Imgur for people posting images? I can't see anything annoyingly as I'm in the UK.

Yes I can see those. Imgur has been turned off for the UK because they don't want to abide by some new regulations that are in place for age checks: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4gzxv5gy3qo

I don't mind people using it still, but there are other options available and I know there are a lot of UK folk on this site.
