The Worst Video game EVER!

Post

Sometimes when you go to that site it tries to make you watch an add first, but all you have to do is click "go directly to gamespot" and you're there.

Yes, this is real. I saw another review of the turd a while back on Xplay, and they were every bit as harsh on this crime against humanity.

This is too bad to be real. There is someone actually publishing this?
When I think at all the groups of racing sim modders that spend months to develop mods with carefully studied physics, sounds, textures, AI behaviours - for free... has anyone been payed for developing that game or was it a half-finished university project that someone thought that, burned in a DVD, could make him some cash?

No it's real, horrifyingly real. This game was actually released and sold. Gamespot is pretty reputable, and so is X-Play. Both have been around for years.

Yeah, Mr. Titov phoned Mr. Julitov with the idea of making a very bad game. They spent a whole month trying to come up witn the worst idea and biggest bug list possible. To make it happen, they hired Mr. Mironovsky, Kulov and Mrs. Slavinskaya. Mr. Maletsky was charged of making the worst user interface possible and Mr. Burton of coming up with the most ridiculous sounds. After months of work, it was still too good, so they asked Mr. Jameson to try to destroy the game utterly.

As huge Monty Python's nonsense fans, they were then happy to have such a crappy game and sell it as a truck racing game.

Who knows, maybe something immortal like "Plan 9 From Outer Space" is born - something so bad that generates a cult... :)

Just found this video review of BROTRR on YouTube

Frightfully bad game... But it would take something special to beat ET on Atari 2600. Even for a game made 25 years ago, it is atrocious.
