If you can't figure out what it is press ctrl+alt+del to get Windows Task Menager. Than click on Processes. In CPU column you'll see the percentage of CPU's capacity currently used.

If you're unsure about the name of some application shown in Image column just type its name in Google and you'll get answer if it is a windows system application, some normal program application or malware of any kind. Also, keep in mind that some malware has similar names to real system applications.

For example; SVCHOST.EXE is part of Windows while SCVHOST.EXE is dangerous W32/Agobot-S virus.

If you detect suspicious file. Find it with Search and than delete it manually if your anti-virus or anti-spyware won't do it but be careful not to delete some Windows file.

BTW, here are two versions of transparent BMW logo for you

What about Microsoft's Antispyware utility? Is it another Microsoft product?

Here's another one for personal use:

This is the best one I've used, even after trying spybot, spyware blaster, and adaware. I use this one in conjunction w/ CCleaner.
