Benny Parsons

Don't know how many of you out there are diehard NASCAR fans, but Benny Parsons had lung cancer not too long ago, and he beat the disease. Unfortunately his left lung was hurt pretty bad from the treatment process. We here in the US, at the least I am, are pulling for his recovery. He a legend to us much like F1 fans love Murray Walker. Whom I like quite a bit myself.

Benny's commentary has been about the only thing that makes watching NASCAR bearable .. a great guy, and a racer's racer. Good luck BP!!!!!!!!!

Yes I hope for his recovery and return to the commentary booth - I followed his career as a driver. Best Regards Mr Parsons.

Benny passed away today. We've lost another link to the golden age of motor racing, and a very great guy.
