A bit of conspiracy theory... Renault assembles one engine with bad pistons, run it a bit and than someone sells it on ebay. Other engine manufacturers buy it to analyze material and dimensions, copy it and find themselves in problems.
You can buy a Ferrari rear section of F310 sidepod from me signed by Schuey, Brawn and Sheckter with all documentation if you are after a real piece of F1 memorabilia (was on the car when he won). Gotta sell it to halp pay ofr my student life while I'm away from home so P.M. me if you're interested!!! (might take a while to reply though these days, v. busy )
