I'm not mad about any of this. I just absolutely love how everyone thinks that Americans are fat, stupid people. Most people are the world are exactly the same way. Also remember we saved alot of people asses quite a few times. Don't wake the sleeping beast.

Actually they are not.

I thought this was about general knowledge on geography etc
Long experience has taught me this about the status of mankind with regards to matters requiring thought. The less people know and understand about them, the more positively they attempt to argue concerning them; while on the other hand, to know and understand a multitude of things renders men cautious in passing judgement upon anything new. - Galileo..

We have stupid people in england 2, it was the only the other day i was explaining where wales is to some girl.

Stupid people are everywhere. It just seems that over there in the USA they always find there way onto TV (Getting like that over her 2, I am sure reality TV is on a quest to find the dumbest person in the world).

I did not think this was about anyone being stupid. Not caring that there is a world outside of the US is not stupidity.

I'm with Ray and Mcdenife on this. Every nation has it's- shall we say - has citizens lacking basic information, commonsense and courtesy - not to mention corporations suffering the very same problems. I remember a family friend that was ill and entered a nursing home - although relatives cancelled the invalid's phone service - the phone company sent them a single bill over 10 years later that suggested the family owed over $300 for the "equipment rental" - rental of the the phone. The phone may have been worth - what - $25 ? This did not strike me as good customer service.

I rephrase: I did not think this was about the general stupidity or otherwise of certain peoples. Having no knowledge (thus not caring) about the world outside the US is not stupidity but something else...........

Not knowing does not equate to stupidity.

f1.redbaron, If you look carefully at the first video the names shown on the map by TV presenter, are mixed up.

For example, IRAN is written right accross Australia.

Or, you pulled another joke? :D
