Make of it what you will, a future career for retired F1 drivers? is he a better driver than singer? should he have started this 20 years ago and forgot about F1?

I saw a clip of him performing on the Speed report. He's an ok singer, but the song itself was elevator music and I don't care for his style of singing--too polite. Something grandma would listen to. You would think an ex-F1 driver would be more interested in sounding like Iron Maiden than Simon and Garfunkle. But it apparently makes him happy, so I wish him the best of luck.

But I'm not going to be buying any of his CDs any time soon.

Personally, I think JV's taste in music, art, books etc is cheesy. Stick to sports Jacques.

It's kind of like when you hear some movie star talk about becoming a painter and because of their celebrity status, lot's of people flock to see their lame, contrived art exhibitions....for a while at least.
