The car build is an excellent example of flash done right. In fact it's been there since preseason. The website itself is very bad in terms of usability.
Can I say, "Hey Dave, look at the car build example at attwilliams.com/carbuild?" No. Want to read the Bahrain preview? Oh, wait til the bubble tumbles down. There! Quick, click before it pops!
They say "Bubbles simple outside, complex inside like F1 car"... really, would you use bubble-GUI steering wheel? Bubbly telemetry display? Meh.
Subjective matter to be sure, but IMHO it's yucky. Spyker's F1 Magazine
http://www.spykerf1magazine.com is very heavy on flash, but actually makes it easier to access the multimedia content.
I hereby revise my earlier comment: "Mandatory incarceration required for excessive flash
eye candy"
