Thank you very much for your concern, Ray.

Well, it ruined the work of one hour in a VB program. As usual, I was inspired when power went out. Shut.

If you mean if there were people shooting in the streets, sirens wailing, arsonist running around, looting and all that, no. We are not as uncivilized as New Yorkers... ;)

The worse thing that happened was some traffic jams when the backup systems for the traffic lights exhausted their energy.

Seems lightning hit a substation, a main switch, designed to avoid this kind of things, failed and the national network went out.

I was working at home, as usual, so I did some gardening in the morning, made my lunch, slept my daily "siesta" and when I awake, power was back... No traffic jams for me: my rosebushes are now properly trimmed.

Actually, I thought this was a transformer failure or something that happened only in my neighborhood. I did not think you will notice: talking about globalization and slow news days...

Glad to hear you are okay down there. Figures you were inspired right about the time the power went south. Funny how that happens huh? I read the story in CNN and they said somethings about the superior driving of the folks down there. Good thing huh? Again, glad to hear you are okay.

Superior driving? Allow me to disagree. Probably they haven't heard of JPM giving the finger to somebody on NASCAR while on camera. We hope he won't do a "mooning" next time...

Now THAT would be a new one to the NASCAR family. If anybody can do it, it's my boy Juan!

Did you do some kart racing in your spare time?

They ever figure out definitively what caused the countrywide blackout?
